Although the hotel was full of guests I never struggled to find a place to sunbathe, and free towels were handed out to everyone near the entry. As we visited Vegas in June, the desert heat was super hot for us British tourists so we were pleased to always come back to the room and it was always the perfect temperature with the air conditioning on. We also really enjoyed having the floor to ceiling windows and would keep them open day and night as we loved falling to sleep seeing the vegas neon lights below and waking up naturally to some very hot Vegas sunshine peeking into the room in the morning. The room was spacious and included a shower, bath, two sinks, 3 large mirrors, an ironing board, iron, fridge, large TV, hairdryer and a safe, plus most importantly super-fast wifi and a lovely clean room and fresh towels to return to every evening.
As with any Las Vegas resort, the Rio is huge, our room was a Classic suite with 2 queen beds and a mountain view.
